Company Description
Starting with a single red ‘shed’ over 40 years ago, today The Warehouse Group is home to some of Aotearoa’s iconic brands - The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. We’re laser-focused on our customers and markets, looking to excite and continuing our drive to deliver quality products and unparalleled experience for our customers.

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Content Stylist to join our in-house photo studio team on a freelance basis. We’re recruiting for upcoming work starting from September.

Job Description
Our in-house studio team is responsible for ensuring our products, content, advertising, and always-on campaigns are engaging, on-brand and look the best – standing out in all the right ways! Reporting to our Studio Manager, as Junior Creative Stylist, you’ll assist in preparing and styling products, props, and sets for photo shoots, ensuring everything looks polished and on-brand. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for aesthetics, a passion for styling, and a collaborative spirit.

In a snapshot:

Assist senior stylists and photographers in setting up styled shoots for e-commerce, editorial, and social content.
Style products, props, and backgrounds to meet creative briefs and brand guidelines.
Maintain a tidy and organised studio environment, including prop storage and styling kits.
Collaborate with the studio team to brainstorm styling ideas and contribute to mood boards.
Support on shoot days with styling adjustments, product prep, and set resets.
Help manage styling inventory and source props when needed.
Please note this is a freelance opportunity with no set weekly hours. The days and hours could vary from a full work week (Mon – Fri) during our peak shoot periods to a couple of hours/days during quieter periods. The work will be based on-site at our head office in Northcote.

Your proactivity, enthusiasm and hunger to learn on the job will be key qualities to succeed in this position! Perhaps a recent grad with experience in creative projects, or looking to expand your commercial experience, this role will have tons of variety, interesting work and more!
