Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI.
A day in the life of a Finance Manager:
Provide extensive financial assistance to the Licensing Consumer Product (LCP) category team in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Prepare, present, and submit all financial reports.
Lead financial planning processes related to royalty income, including variance analysis, issue resolution, and alignment with strategic targets.
Conduct deep-dive financial analyses to explain revenue and expense variances and support data-driven decision-making.
Coordinate operational cost management, prediction, and alignment to adhere to budget constraints.
Offer proactive financial analysis and strategic assistance to the Licensing Consumer Products team.
Partner on business development initiatives, assessing potential deals and advising on financial outcomes.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of cost and royalty data used in commercial decision-making.
Build and maintain consistent financial planning methodologies and standard processes across teams.
Evaluate and run financial elements of Agent relationships, including fee structures and budgeting.
Drive automation initiatives for financial reporting and data extraction to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Support ongoing improvements to licensing systems and tools, including participation in system improvements or fixes.
Ensure timely approval of purchase requisitions and invoices related to LCP cost centers, in coordination with Shared Services.
Collaborate with Internal Audit to support and close out Licensee audits.
Build robust financial models in partnership with commercial teams to evaluate performance and inform strategy.
Engage with external partners including sub-representatives and licensees to support effective financial oversight and governance.
What you'll bring:
Required Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA) designation.
5–7 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in a managerial or business partner role.
Strong familiarity with licensing and royalty accounting will be an advantage.
Experience working in an SAP environment and multi-currency reporting environment.
Exposure to data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI); programming skills are a plus but not required.
Proven skills in financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis.
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a attention to details.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information to senior collaborators.
Analytical attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and improvement in execution.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability; able to work independently.
Flexible and adaptable to varying work hours due to time zone differences and seasonal workload peaks.
Trusted teammate with a dedicated and professional attitude.
Excel / power point (Microsoft office ) proficiency.

The base salary range for this position is $114,600.00 to $185,500.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
