Responsibilities
TE Connectivity’s Automation/Manufacturing Technician team performs activities that ensure the AMR robotic/ automation program is functional supporting the site manufacturing operations on a 24-hour basis
This includes the upkeep of the robotics, managing the fleet software, troubleshooting/fixing issues, and prioritizing fleet activities with shift supervision
Monitoring of the fleet management robotic system, prioritizing actions, & taking appropriate actions to resolve system issues
Programming of AMR robotic system – individual will be trained on supplier software
Basic knowledge of PLC operation
Intermediate to advanced computer skills
Diagnose and repairs advanced mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns of machinery with minimal supervision
Work independently and have effective communication skills to alert supervision to actions taken or issues that have arisen
Works closely with Manufacturing and Controls Engineers to implement automation lessons learned and address operational issues
Completes all work orders and repair logs to reflect work performed
Performs robotic and other automation p.m.’s as assigned
Lead and/or support other automation or mechanical projects as assigned
Must work effectively with limited or general supervision
Follows all safety guidelines in working on machinery or in facilities (ex
Lock out/tag out)
Monday to Friday 7 am to 3 pm

Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Automation/Manufacturing Technician team performs activities that ensure the AMR robotic/ automation program is functional supporting the site manufacturing operations on a 24-hour basis. What Your Background Should Look Like
• Education: High School diploma, AS degree or equivalent in Automated Manufacturing/Industrial Automation or local equivalent and 4 years of related experience is preferred.
• Individual must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Good computer skills required to access multiple online TE systems.
• Automotive Industry experience preferred but not required.
• Position to be based at our Greensboro, NC Pegg Road facility.
