ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Marketing Operations Specialist to support our marketing team by managing CRM operations, marketing automation workflows, campaign setup, and performance reporting. This role is critical to ensuring our email and digital campaigns are effectively executed, highly targeted, and data-driven. You’ll work closely with the broader marketing team to manage lists, create reports, and ensure smooth execution across Salesforce and our marketing platforms.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Email Campaign Execution: Set up and deploy email campaigns using Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or similar platforms); ensure timely and accurate execution of all communications.
CRM List Management: Manage and segment contact lists within Salesforce; ensure list hygiene, accuracy, and alignment with targeting strategies.
Marketing Automation: Build and maintain automation workflows, drip campaigns, and lead nurturing paths based on user behavior and lifecycle stages.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate and maintain regular marketing reports to track performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, etc.); provide insights to improve campaign results.
A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct A/B testing for subject lines, content, and send times; analyze results and implement data-backed improvements.
Data Quality & Integrity: Monitor data integrity within Salesforce; work with Sales/RevOps to ensure data is properly captured and tagged.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, sales, and other departments to support integrated marketing campaigns and promotional efforts.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Email Marketing Skills
Campaign creation and automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
A/B testing and optimization for subject lines, body copy, CTAs, and send times
List segmentation and targeting strategies to drive engagement
Deliverability management and basic knowledge of inbox placement, sender reputation, and CAN-SPAM compliance
Nice to have: Creative copywriting and an eye for design, especially email layouts and mobile optimization
Nice to have: Lifecycle marketing strategy (welcome series, nurture streams, win-back, drip campaigns)
Lead Generation & Funnel Strategy
Conversion rate optimization (CRO) experience for email and web
Lead scoring models and qualification rules
Sales and marketing alignment (knowledge of MQL/SQL handoffs and funnel metrics)
Nice to have: Lead capture tactics including form optimization, gated content, popups, and landing page strategy
Reporting & Analytics
Email performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions, bounces, unsubscribes)
Lead gen metrics (CPL, CAC, lead-to-MQL, MQL-to-SQL rates)
Salesforce reporting (custom reports and dashboards)
Ability to draw insights from data and make actionable recommendations
Nice to have: KPI tracking and dashboard building (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau)
Salesforce + CRM Proficiency
Salesforce campaign management and campaign influence tracking
Data hygiene and familiarity with managing contact/account fields, duplicates, and integrations
Automation knowledge
Experience syncing platforms
Comfort with CRM segmentation and using filters for targeted outreach
Technical Aptitude
HTML/CSS basics for email editing and QA
UTM tagging and campaign tracking
API familiarity or experience working with devs to manage integrations
Spreadsheet skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional formatting)
Soft Skills & Traits

Cross-functional communication—can work with Sales, Product, and Customer-facing teams
