Medical Receptionist – 2+ Years Experience Required

Are you an experienced Medical Receptionist looking to join a supportive and professional healthcare team? At WiseMind Medical, we pride ourselves on delivering a 5-star patient experience, and we’re looking for a dedicated receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. If you have 2+ years of experience in a medical reception role, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for patient care, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience as a medical receptionist (experience in a specialist or GP setting is a plus)
MUST have Experience with medical booking softwares (Best Practice & Cliniko)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, caring, and professional personality
High attention to detail, organisation, and multitasking
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Permanent residency in Australia (visa sponsorship not available)
Key Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and handling incoming calls professionally
Managing appointments, referrals, and billing using medical software
Handling patient inquiries via phone and email
Processing patient payments and Medicare rebates
Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Supporting doctors and clinical staff with patient coordination
About You:

A proactive problem solver who takes initiative
Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Friendly and welcoming
Customer Facing experience
A quick learner with the ability to absorb new information
Previous medical reception experience is ideal, but candidates with strong high-end customer service backgrounds will also be considered
