Job Title: Front Office Receptionist EdTech Company
Job Description:
The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for managing the reception area and ensuring efficient
customer service for students, parents, and visitors. This role involves handling administrative tasks,
assisting with student support, and coordinating with internal teams to maintain a professional front-
office environment. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be tech-savvy, and
possess a customer-oriented approach.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Reception & Communication:
Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and messages; direct them to appropriate
departments or personnel.
Maintain accurate visitor records and ensure adherence to security protocols.
Customer Service Support:
Provide information about courses, schedules, admissions, and platform usage.
Address queries or concerns and escalate unresolved issues to the relevant team.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments, meetings, and classroom sessions as required.
Manage office supplies and coordinate procurement needs.
Handle documentation, filing, data entry, and record maintenance.
Support daily operations and office coordination tasks.
Event and Session Support:
Coordinate front-desk logistics for training programs, webinars, and workshops.
Assist with event communication, registration, and hospitality arrangements.
Prepare necessary materials such as attendance sheets, handouts, and IDs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in administration, communications, or a related field.
Prior experience in a receptionist, front office, or administrative support role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and basic CRM/LMS tools.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in the education or EdTech industry.
Familiarity with online learning platforms or student management systems.
Ability to handle basic technical queries or provide initial troubleshooting support.
Work Environment:
On-site full-time position; hybrid flexibility may be offered.
May involve extended hours during events or special sessions.
