Qualification: Chartered Accountant or Master of Business Administration (Full Time from a reputable institute)
Experience – 5-7 years of relevant work experience in Banking, Asset Reconstruction Companies, or Big 4 consultancy firms.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing Mid-Market and Emerging Large Corporates
• Regular monitoring of borrower accounts, regular follow-ups, and maintaining updates on the developments in the respective borrower accounts.
• Advising borrowers in a turnaround situation with respect to liquidity concerns, undertaking viability studies, developing sustainable business plans, and getting involved in rehabilitation packages.
• Managing stressed assets involving interaction with the company, performance monitoring & benchmarking, adherence to stipulated terms, site visits, etc.
• Monitoring exposures to enable proactive action whenever required. Reviewing credit files, financials, and security documentation and current status.
• Designing and implementing suitable early warning triggers for allocated accounts. Closely monitoring allocated portfolios, reviewing operational and financial performance, monitoring monthly cash flows, tracking performance of economic cycles and applicable industries, which have a bearing on the respective assets, etc.
• Formulation of recovery strategies post factoring appropriate legal options.
Technical Competencies
• Knowledge of reading and understanding the financials of an entity, involving credit analysis.
• Knowledge of various industries.
• Knowledge of RBI guidelines for stressed assets and restructuring.
• Reasonable knowledge of various legal forums and applicable laws, including IBC, SARFAESI, commercial suits, contract laws, etc.
• Satisfactory note-making skills and good command over written and spoken communication.
