We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Manager.
In this role, you will:
Working with Reward GSO to define and prioritise a product backlog that will maximise the improvements to employee experience. Leading an Agile pod to maximise velocity and ensure alignment with business priorities
Driving innovation and proof of concepts to help shape HR vision and roadmap. Promoting a culture of customer centricity across the delivery team. Supporting the ongoing transformation towards an Agile delivery model. Day to day management of the Reward technology team
Technical ownership for the Reward platform, including risks, architecture, vendor relationship, performance, support, upgrades and maintenance. Assist business stakeholders with the decomposition of complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories that can be delivered by your pod.
Driving ongoing technical debt management and reduction activities in the Reward platform. Embedding robust architecture and platform governance principles. Ensuring alignment with HSBC standards, governance and documentation requirements
Work across business and technology to establish effective controls, procedures, and quality assurance processes for the product in line with the Business Transformation Framework and HSBC Risk and Controls framework
Provide technical support and guidance to your team members. Become an SME on the functional capabilities of the products you are delivering for your business stakeholders. Working with geographically spread / virtual teams to deliver enhancements.
Contribute to team development, effectiveness, and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse, and supportive working environment.
Own and lead on the technical execution of HSBC's annual Reward cycle, from initial form launch, through supporting all data entry and reporting steps to transmission into HSBCs Payrolls. Support Group Reward team throughout the year in data reconciliation, adhoc reporting and solution management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Experience delivering IT Solutions within a large organisation. Extensive experience of Agile project/programme management
Working knowledge of Success Factors Modules. People management experience and experience of operating within regulated industries and the associated Governance frameworks (ideally within Financial Services)
A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better. Experience of Stakeholder Management
Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Knowledge of HR processes including the Reward process. Knowledge of HR systems
Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification
Technical background in IT Operations or Software Development
Experience delivering IT Solutions.Jira / Confluence knowledge. Knowledge of XML
