Now Hiring – Search Marketing & Data Specialist
As a member of the digital marketing team, the Search Marketing & Data Specialist supports the optimization of University Health’s digital presence through strategic search marketing and cross-channel data analysis. This role is responsible for enhancing search visibility through on-page and technical SEO, managing paid search campaigns, and providing performance-driven insights to inform content strategy. The specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to align SEO and SEM efforts with broader marketing goals. Additionally, they develop and maintain dashboards, analyze user behavior and engagement across digital channels, and deliver actionable recommendations that improve the user experience and overall digital performance. This position plays a key role in helping the organization stay competitive by leveraging marketing data, identifying opportunities, and continuously refining digital strategies based on industry trends and evolving best practices.
Duties:
Optimize on-page and technical SEO to improve search engine visibility and organic traffic.
Conduct ongoing keyword, competitor, and industry research to optimize existing content, uncover new opportunities, and guide overall search strategy.
Support content development with SEO recommendations and performance insights.
Conduct regular audits of the website's SEO health, identifying and addressing issues that may impact search visibility and ranking.
Develop and maintain performance dashboards to monitor KPIs across SEO, SEM, CRM and digital channels.
Analyze user behavior, funnel performance, and engagement metrics to inform strategy.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for internal teams.
Conduct comprehensive research on user needs, behaviors, and preferences within the healthcare industry.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information technology, data analytics or related field required.
Foundational knowledge of search engine optimization (on-page, technical, keyword research) and paid search concepts.
Experience using tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Ads, or similar platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
Experience with keyword and topic research is required. Must have experience with SEO industry platforms, such as Siteimprove, Conductor, SEMrush or similar platforms.
Basic experience with data analysis and reporting across digital channels (e.g., website, SEO, CRM, paid campaigns)
