The Segment Relationship Manager reports to the Vice President of Strategic Growth Initiatives and is responsible for developing relationships with Community and Select Employee Group (SEG) channels. Your main responsibilities are business development and innovation to grow membership and enhance member value to position the credit union as a trusted financial anchor. Additionally, you will build long-lasting member relationships to ensure they benefit from our legendary products and services.
What will I be doing?
As a Segment Relationship Manager, you will address the needs of your Community and SEG channels and ensure the members’ experience is exceptional. The following tasks must be executed with high fidelity:
Promote Citadel’s brand, mission, and values to SEG channels and communities.
Build, develop, and manage a pipeline of SEG and community relationships.
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned SEG for building trust and long-lasting relationships.
Conduct consistent check-ins, site visits, and engage with activities to strengthen
Understand the needs of each SEG relationship to provide financial education, product offerings, and member support.
Coordinate and execute specific marketing and outreach campaigns to increase membership.
Collaborate with internal departments (i.e. marketing, lending, commercial lending, real estate, etc.) to deliver smooth and seamless member experiences.
Track and report on SEG member growth and engagement efforts through CRM.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies (BSA/AML, NCUA, etc.).
What we are looking for?
The Segment Relationship Manager represents Citadel by working on behalf of our external and internal members. To successfully fill this role, you should meet and maintain these skills and values:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on relationship building.
Proficient knowledge and understanding of credit unions and SEG channels.
Exceptional decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work under pressure.
Integrity, Accountability, and Resiliency.
A fluent English-speaking person.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk and/or hear for extended periods. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend. The employee will be regularly required to walk and move fluidly within a Retail Office or Corporate Office environment. The employee must occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. The position requires close visual acuity. Community events can occur in a variety of locations including indoors, outside, or at local employers who partner with Citadel. There is infrequent travel, unless otherwise noted.
