Role: Accountant

Location: Goregaon, Mumbai

Job Type: Full-time on-site.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax & Compliance:
• GST & Income Tax: Meticulously handle the filing of GST returns (GSTR 1, 2B, 3B, +) and Income Tax (including TDS/TCS) to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
• Stay Abreast of Regulations: Maintain a deep understanding of evolving tax regulations and proactively implement changes to ensure compliance.
• Tax Audit Support: Assist with tax audits by providing accurate and well-organized financial documentation.

International Transactions:
• Import/Export: Manage all import/export documentation to facilitate seamless international transactions and ensure adherence to customs regulations.

Inventory Management:
• Inventory Control: Oversee inventory control for both e-commerce and physical stores, implementing robust systems for regular reconciliations and swift discrepancy resolution.

Payroll & Accounts Management:
• Payroll: Manage all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees in accordance with tax regulations.
• Bookkeeping: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks (journal vouchers, ledgers, bank reconciliations) and maintain compliance with e-Invoicing and e-Way bill regulations.
• Financial Statements: Prepare accurate financial statements (including cash flow statements) and finalize accounts at the end of each period.

Financial Data & Reporting:
• Financial Data Analyst: Process accounts payable/receivable, record sales & purchase entries, and track sample consumption with meticulous attention to detail.
• Reporting: Generate comprehensive daily/weekly reports that provide valuable insights into financial performance.
• Expense Management: Manage expense accounts, ensuring proper categorization and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Technical Expertise:
• Software Proficiency: Possess in-depth expertise in Tally and GST software, along with advanced MS Office skills for data analysis and report generation.
• Tally ERP +: Utilize your deep understanding of Tally ERP + to streamline and optimize all financial management processes.

Bonus Points
• Experience working in the fashion industry, particularly e-commerce.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with various internal departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience.
• Candidate should reside in Mumbai.
