About the role and team

We have an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our thriving Statutory Insurance NSW – CTP practice in our Sydney or Newcastle office, working with a highly regarded team. The successful candidate will ideally have at least five years’ post qualification experience in the defence of personal injury claims, specifically in CTP.

Our Statutory Insurance NSW - CTP team across Sydney and Newcastle has over 60 team members. Our team has significant experience in compulsory third party claims and is led by an industry leading Partner and senior lawyers.

This is a genuine growth role for the right candidate, offering the opportunity for career progression within a supportive environment.

About you

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

minimum five years' of post-admission experience;
experience working in the personal injury space, specifically in defence of CTP claims;
ability to work autonomously as well as part of a supportive and collaborative team;
ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers;
clear, concise legal writing skills; and
strong attention to detail.
