Senior Bookkeeper – Australian Accounting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper with a strong background in Australian accounting standards and practices. The ideal candidate will be a professional based in Mumbai, with at least 2 years of experience managing bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients. This role offers the flexibility to work from home, depending on the candidate’s profile and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients using platforms like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
• Prepare and review BAS, IAS, payroll, and superannuation reports
• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts ,inter company reconciliation
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and accounting standards
• Liaise with Australian accountants and clients to resolve queries
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting
• Support in preparation of financial statements and management reports

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of Australian GST, BAS, payroll, and superannuation
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts

Preferred Attributes:
• Experience working with Australian accounting firms or clients
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and remote collaboration tools
• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and client needs

Work Environment:
• Location: Mumbai (WFH option available based on performance and business needs)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
