Peer Advisory Group is currently seeking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator in order to provide a range of commercial support services for a client-side engagement within a major infrastructure projects in Perth, WA.
Must be good with contract departures and closing out contracts with an executive mindset.
The key requirements for this role include demonstrated experiences in Contracts Administration and Procurement
Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Prepare RFQ packages and negotiate commercial clarifications and departures.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, and other relevant factors.
Negotiate and finalize contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers in alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and relevant legislation (e.g., probity, ethical sourcing, modern slavery compliance).
Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., commercial, legal, project delivery) to understand procurement requirements and deliver effective sourcing solutions.
Prepare and issue Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Tender (RFT), and other procurement documents.
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and reporting documentation to support audits and strategic planning.
Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from prequalification to contract award and post-award administration.
Knowledge of and experience of working within government organisations and familiarity with government systems and processes will be an added advantage.
Apply policy and organisational guidelines and procedures in relation to procurement and contract management.
Develop well written, well-structured documentation that clearly sets out the business requirements.
Support the compilation and construction of the tender, evaluation and selection of Professional Service Contracts, including obtaining firm prices and/or budget estimates for future works and variations and proof of necessary insurances.
Review, assess and process payment requests, variations and claims, and invoices in line with regular budget forecasting and cost reporting to management..
Participate in the performance review and reporting for contractors, thereby contributing to the monthly reporting process, variation and claims reports and Audit
Assess and value variations and contractual claims, ensuring that the requirements of the contract are met.
Prepare, issue and respond to general correspondence in relation to the contract.
Other requirements for these positions are:
Relevant qualifications and experiences;
Experience of working within government projects will be an added advantage;
Experience in negotiating and managing delivery contracts and third party agreements.
Understanding of different contracting models, including collaborative contracts.
