We have an exciting opportunity available to join us within the Argus Team.


Argus is a well-known company with over 40 years' experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects including fire system design, installation and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.


We currently have a vacancy for a qualified Senior Alarm Technician in our Service division based in the Waikato. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in all aspects of fire alarm system installation and service and must have proven experience in programming fire panels.

What we're looking for:

Senior Fire Alarm Technician experience with Fire Tech qualifications.
Competency in maintaining and operating all types of Fire Protection and peripheral systems.
You should have proven ability in all aspects of servicing of fire alarm systems, including addressable systems, high level programming of fire panels, gas flood systems and aspirating systems.
A high understanding of the relevant NZ Standards and NZ Building Code.
A high standard of Health & Safety, Workmanship and Ethics.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent computer literacy.
Excellent record keeping and report compilation skills.
High level of personal hygiene.
Provision of technical information, advice and assistance
