Job Purpose
The Senior HR Executive will manage end-to-end HR functions for a facility management and infrastructure company, ensuring smooth operations in recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, performance evaluation, employee engagement, and labour law adherence. The role requires a hands-on professional with strong generalist experience to support both operational and strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Handle full-cycle recruitment for technical, non-technical, and support staff.
• Work with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
• Manage onboarding, induction, and joining formalities.
2. Payroll & HR Operations
• Oversee monthly payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
• Ensure accuracy in salary disbursement, reimbursements, and deductions.
• Maintain HRIS and employee records up to date.
3. Performance Management
• Support implementation of performance appraisal systems (KRA/KPI-based).
• Assist managers in tracking performance and providing feedback.
• Ensure timely appraisal cycles and maintain records.
4. Employee Engagement & Welfare
• Plan and execute employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives.
• Address employee grievances and provide conflict resolution support.
• Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
5. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishments Act, and other applicable labour laws.
• Coordinate with consultants/auditors for statutory filings and inspections.
• Maintain compliance reports and audit-ready documentation.
6. HR Policies & Administration
• Support in drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies across all levels.
• Assist in disciplinary actions and documentation as required.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment and payroll management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict management ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software/ERP.
Qualifications & Experience
• Postgraduate MBA/MSW in Human Resources.
• 4 to 7 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in facility management / infrastructure / service industry.
• Exposure to large workforce handling (technical & non-technical staff) is desirable.
