ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Brand the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in driving engagement across our digital platforms, supporting the implementation of the social media strategy and contributing to broader marketing and fundraising campaigns. You’ll be hands-on with content creation, community management, and campaign support that aligns with PCYC NSW’s mission to empower youth, get kids active in life, and reduce youth crime. You will:
Create compelling and engaging content across various formats (video, photo, audio, written) for social media and marketing campaigns.
Manage PCYC NSW’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok), including scheduling, publishing, and community engagement via platforms and Sprout Social.
Collaborate with internal teams to capture stories, testimonials, and user-generated content to bring our impact to life.
Develop monthly reports tracking social media performance, providing insights to inform strategy.
Work closely with ambassadors, influencers, and partners to amplify our voice and message.
support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, including brand, fundraising, and local marketing initiatives.
Maintain digital asset management and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
Assist with event promotion, collateral development, and support requests from clubs and operations.
ABOUT US
Established in 1+37, PCYC NSW is a life changing charity collaborating in partnership with communities and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime. We have sixty-six clubs and eighteen OOSH services across NSW, with a vision for significant growth.
Our aim is to engage with and positively influence over 70,000 youth members through mainstream sport, recreation, education, leadership, and cultural programs. We also work with at-risk youth to break the cycle of disadvantage through crime prevention, vocational education, youth capacity building and social responsibility programs to enhance the life direction and outcomes of over 7,500 youth per year.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a creative, organised, and proactive digital storyteller with strong attention to detail and a passion for community impact. Whether you're behind the lens, writing a campaign post, or coordinating a story from the field, you thrive on bringing ideas to life and connecting audiences with purpose.
YOU WILL HAVE:
· A strong alignment with PCYC NSW’s values: Respect, Community, Integrity, Commitment, and Resilience.
· Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in social media content creation and platform management.
· Hands-on skills in video/photo/audio production and editing for digital channels.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Willingness to travel within NSW and a current C-class driver’s license.
