We are seeking a strategic and proactive Talent Acquisition to support recruitment efforts across our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies, overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to attract top-tier candidates. You will also analyze hiring metrics to continuously improve our recruitment effectiveness and enhance the overall candidate experience.
What You’ll do
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and sourcing methods to attract top talent.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
Create job descriptions and manage posting job advertisements on various platforms.
Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate their qualifications and fit for the role.
Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, passive candidates, and other talent sources.
Negotiate job offers and manage the onboarding process for new hires.
Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to improve the effectiveness of the hiring process.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, such as the Human Rights Code and the Employment Standards Act.
What You'll Need:
A bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
3+ years of previous experience in talent acquisition or recruitment is essential. Experience with high volume recruitment, talent sourcing and the hospitality industry is a plus.
Strong understanding of various recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and best practices in candidate selection. Familiarity with different job boards, social media platforms, and other channels for attracting top talent.
Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations is important to ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for effectively interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills are also important for building relationships with external recruitment agencies and talent sources.
Strong analytical skills to assess candidate qualifications and make data-driven decisions. Ability to identify and address recruitment challenges and implement effective solutions.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and other HR technologies is often required. Familiarity with data analytics tools and the ability to leverage technology to streamline the recruitment process is highly valued.
The ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment is important for success in this role.
