A little about the role

The Team Manager – FSWS will provide appropriate levels of line management, supervision, support and training to the team to ensure high quality, culturally responsive practice in line with the Early Intervention Family Support service (EIFS) delivery as well as,

You will take lead responsibility in the provision of the delivery of culturally safe family support in Halls Creek.
You will be responsible to ensure all staff are in receipt of regular professional and client-focused supervision ensuring FSWS staff utlilise/implement the Practice Framework and other practice skills.
Overseeing the referral process, caseloads and optimal service delivery via prioritising and waiting list as required is one of your many core tasks.
Supporting the team to build close and effective working relationships with local agencies including the development, maintenance and expansion of the EKSN in conjunction with the Operations Manager and other key internal and external stakeholders
Recruitment of staff, with a priority on employment of Aboriginal people with community connections and taking responsibility to ensure appropriate induction and onboarding of new staff is essential.
You will ensure policy and procedures are adhered to including the storage on client management system in a timely manner.
The base salary for this position is $106,389.92 - $111,092/80 /annum (based on 1.0FTE) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum + Mobile + Company vehicle/vehicle allowance and fuel card + Regional Allowance*(may include housing option if required - open to negotiation) + Relocation Allowance* (*conditions apply).

This position is a full-time, ongoing role.

About you

You will hold a relevant qualification in community services. Your minimum of 5 years+ experience of working with children and young people in the care system with evidence of leadership and/or supervisory acumen. A sound knowledge of the Child Protection practice is essential together with,

Your ability to demonstrate your experience to work with children and young people, with challenging behaviour in a trauma informed way.
You will be reliable, flexible and dependable with solid organisational skills including attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Your ability to demonstrate effective communication both written and verbal is essential.
You will be a natural leader, great listener and be able to lead in development of a positive team culture, including contributing to the learning of colleagues and continuous improvement.
Your ability to work respectfully in partnership with other agencies, internal and external departments and training providers will be advantageous.
