Te Tūranga | About the role

We’re forming a new Transport Systems Operations Team as part of changes to how we deliver transport services. We’re looking for a well-organised and proactive person to help get things running smoothly from day one.

This role provides key support across transport areas like parking, traffic operations, and corridor access, with a focus on administration. You’ll help set up systems and processes, support invoicing and financial tasks, and work with external parties to recover costs for damage to public assets.


What You’ll Do:

Provide general admin support like scheduling, reporting, and keeping records

Support financial tasks including invoicing and tracking payments

Work with external parties to support the team with data clarity and cost recovery

Assist with continual improvement opportunities within the team’s ecosystem

Help set up and improve systems and processes for the team


Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed

To do well in this role, you’ll need:

Solid experience in administration and coordination

Confidence working with invoices and financial processes

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

A desire to help operate a user-friendly transport system for Tauranga

Ability to work well with different teams and external contacts

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Some knowledge of transport systems is helpful, but not essential
