Overview:
BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis is listed on the TSX Venture exchange, and is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financials aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. Our current focus is construction of the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.

Artemis Gold received its BC Mines Act permit for Blackwater Mine in March 2023 enabling the project to move into major works construction.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Warehouse, the Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by performing various manual tasks to facilitate the storage, movement, and organization of materials and equipment.
Location: Blackwater Mine site
Schedule: Two (2) Weeks On – Two (2) Weeks Off Rotation

Responsibilities:
Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
Assist with loading and unloading of the trucks, trailers, and shipping containers using manual labor and basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of material, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders and documentation.
Prepare orders for shipment or delivery by picking, packing, and staging items according to packing lists, shipping instructions, and customer requirements.
Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies or shortages for resolution.
Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, shelving units, and storage racks to optimize space utilization and facilitate efficient material handling and retrieval.
Assist with inventory control activities, including stock replenishment, shelf labeling, and bin location management, to ensure adequate stock levels and availability of materials.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is an asset.
Experience operating warehousing equipment is considered an asset.
Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation
Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift.
Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs throughout a work shift
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
Basic math skills and attention to detail for accurately counting, labeling, and recording inventory transactions.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines effectively.
