The Signet Bureau is a unique niche retail space located in the heart of the urban and eclectic Gertrude Street, Fitzroy retail precinct and is appreciated for its high quality, unique and original clothing, footwear and accessories from both international and Australian based brands.

We have a long and strong history of supporting local Melbourne and Sydney based designers and also carry a select range of German, French, Japanese and New Zealand brands with a strong design sensibility.

Role & Days / Hours of Work

This is a casual sales role
Fixed working days are Monday & Sunday each week
Further optional hours are also offered for Saturdays on a business needs basis
Demonstrated experience and performance in the following areas:

Previous experience with mid-high end women's fashion apparel
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
Strong Fashion knowledge and expertise
Experience developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
Beneficial to have visual merchandising ability able to work with the team and create innovative store presentation solutions
IT skills and mid user level competency with MS Office 365 apps such as Outlook, Word & Excel, POS systems such as Vend/Lightspeed or other similar apps (experience with advantageous) and BigCommerce E-Commerce platform and associated applications (advantageous, not essential)
You will possess the following key attributes:

The successful candidate will:

Provide a premium service to our customers that endeavors to meet their needs and exceed their expectations
Bring a warm, personable approach and be at ease with maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new customers
Develop an in depth understanding of our products and the ability to communicate this knowledge to our customers, educating and inspiring them to look and feel great in our original and bespoke pieces
Use your creative flair and eye for detail to assist the team with creating an environment that reflects the uniqueness of the designs within the space and encourages our customer to engage with our products
Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
