Join The Retail Partnership Ltd in Leicester, England as a Senior Womenswear Jersey Designer. This exciting opportunity combines creativity with commercial acumen, working with key fashion retail clients like River Island and ASOS.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop innovative jersey product ranges that balance fashion trends with commercial viability.
• Create unique designs that meet client expectations and seasonal trends.
• Conduct thorough trend research to inspire creative direction.
• Collaborate with print and graphics teams to achieve design goals.
• Stay ahead of market trends by identifying new product opportunities.
• Inform design decisions with data and consumer insights.
• Support and motivate team members through regular feedback.
• Source fabrics across multiple territories to introduce innovation.
• Present product strategies and seasonal direction confidently to internal teams and stakeholders.
Person Specification
• Extensive experience in womenswear jersey design.
• Strong trend awareness and ability to translate trends into commercial products.
• Proven track record in creating successful fashion ranges for high street retailers.
• Effective communication and confident presentation skills.
• Experience in fabric sourcing and innovation within the jersey category.
• Ability to manage and support team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Global awareness of the fashion retail market, customer segmentation, and emerging opportunities.
