This Writer Services Representative role is a full-time opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic, friendly, and passionate team at APRA AMCOS.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Writer Services, your primary role will be supporting APRA AMCOS’ songwriter and composer members with royalty collection and assisting them with questions they may have about their general membership. The role is primarily customer service and administration based and involves daily liaison with APRA AMCOS members and internal staff.

Professionally and successfully execute reports and prepare and communicate statistical information.
Provide accurate and timely administrative support services, correspondence and database management relating to writer members.
Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for increased representation.
Music industry engagement through attending APRA AMCOS membership and music industry functions as required.
Co-ordination, budgeting, participation, and evaluation as required for member events (virtually and face to face).
Public speaking and presentations to education institutions as required.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:

As you will be the first point of contact for APRAs songwriter and composer members excellent customer service skills, verbally and written, are required to establish positive professional relationships with members and their teams.

Experience in handling confidential and private information with care.
Strong attention to detail is required, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Self-sufficient in use of digital tools, such as Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook email, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams).
Interests or involvement in the broader music industry is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in working in an administrative office environment is preferred.
What You'll Love:

Our friendly and collaborative work environment. Our team thrives on our values of collaboration, respect, skill, imagination, and accountability.
Hybrid work options, combining the convenience of remote work with in-office collaboration.
Generous employee benefits such as: learning and development programs; 18 weeks paid parental leave (including for adoption, foster or kinship care); discounted private health benefits; novated lease vehicles arrangements; access to financial services; employee assistance programs and more.
Application Process:

Ready to be a valued addition to our team? Take the plunge and apply now – we're looking forward to hearing from you!
