Senior Film & Television Production Travel Consultant (Remote)

Full time, Australia


This is a very exciting, fast-paced opportunity arranging travel for the Film and Entertainment Industry! The role requires a high-touch service for often multi-location film productions. Ideally, you will have a passion for travel, be a problem solver, work well under pressure, and have worked in a similar travel consultant role. BCD Media & Entertainment is a global company working with some of the world’s largest Media & Entertainment clients. As a Senior Film & Television Production Travel Consultant, you will

Fulfil incoming travel requests/enquiries accurately & efficiently via GDS (Sabre)
Assist with group bookings, air/hotels etc
Work well and remain calm under pressure, with excellent attention to detail
Anticipate and provide proactive assistance on potential challenges that may arise for the client
Understand and accurately support Production with crew and talent movements
Manage location and large group movements
Manage multiple complex itineraries
Aid team members within and across teams
Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers
Understand and accurately apply travel supplier rules
Maintain current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported
Provide the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
Support BCD Travel and client-driven initiatives
Adhere to BCD Travel policies and procedures to maintain quality control

About you

Previous experience in the travel industry
Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
Knowledgeable of travel industry systems (i.e., GDS Sabre)
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
Demonstrated professional customer service skills
