You’ll lead enterprise-level event planning and execution across our flagship properties, bringing energy, precision, and a hospitality-first mindset to every Guest experience. What You’ll Do
Lead Signature Experiences
Oversee all on- and off-site Banquet and Amphitheater events, ensuring seamless service, flawless execution, and unforgettable Guest experiences
Serve as the on-site leader, actively solving problems and directing service with confidence and clarity
Elevate Team + Culture
Develop, coach, and lead Banquet Associates to deliver excellence in every interaction
Create staffing plans, training systems, and performance standards that reflect our values and drive high-level service
Align teams across departments—from Player Development to F&B—to ensure unified, top-tier execution
Drive Excellence + Strategy
Collaborate with senior leaders to negotiate contracts and elevate event standards across both properties
Execute and optimize Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to meet Guest needs and financial benchmarks
Ensure full compliance with health, liquor, and safety regulations, upholding standards with diligence
Influence + Impact
Monitor cost effectiveness, labor management, and revenue goals, ensuring events align with business outcomes
Represent the Banquets function at sales meetings and planning sessions, ensuring alignment with broader business strategy
Foster trust and communication with hospitality leadership to identify and improve operational gaps

What You Bring
3+ years of experience planning and executing large-scale events (up to 1,000 Guests)
Proven experience negotiating and managing Banquet Event Orders
2+ years of bartending experience
Strong understanding of event operations, food & beverage coordination, and contract negotiation
Demonstrated leadership of high-performing, cross-functional teams
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Alcohol Awareness Certification (or ability to obtain within 2 months)
Must be able to secure a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA)
Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s)
Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by Guest needs or event schedules.
Will involve standing/walking for extended periods and light lifting during events.
