Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Mortgage industry, where you will be responsible for managing financial records and ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded
Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
Work closely with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports
Ensure all transactions are properly recorded in the company's ledger
Process accounts payable and receivable, manage invoices, and perform reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
Ensure compliance with state revenue service and other regulatory bodies
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
Use bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to record and retrieve financial data
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
