We seek a Configuration Analysis Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA Services.
Our client is a leading healthcare provider, offering high-quality healthcare services, innovative programs, and health solutions that help families and individuals get well and stay well. We manage their provider pricing configuration, including Payor Platform configuration, UAT testing, integration testing, and audit. Our BPO team has helped improve productivity, TAT, and quality in the configuration area, strengthening our customer relationships and improving member and provider satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Configure client systems for pricing (provider contract) as per requirements and defined business rules of new claims processing platforms.
• Evaluate configuration requirements and formulate configuration approaches, incorporating advanced configurations and additional functionality based on best practices.
• Create rules and complete configuration activities based on business requirements and business rules gathered.
• Participate in problem-solving of Health Plan benefit, provider, pricing, reporting, operational, and system issues.
• Perform tasks related to resolving production support issues based on client configurations with the core administrative system.
• Support activities to update configuration within the core claims processing system, typically in Provider Pricing areas.
• Support fee schedule changes, including terms, affiliations, and contract maintenance.
• Enable User Analysis Testing (UAT) and implement modifications suggested by business owners and/or analysts.
• Create manual test cases from use cases, functional specs, and other requirement documents.
• Resolve coding/QA issues by managing Master Issue Logs and fixing high-priority change requests requiring immediate attention.
• Data validation and audit of existing plans and contracts in the client database(s).
Requirements:
• Candidates must have overall 5+ years of experience in US healthcare Claims Payer roles.
• 6+ years of experience in configuring client systems for pricing (provider contract) and UAT testing, with 2+ years in data analysis.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/non-technical candidates considered.
• Associates degree, technical college, or some college coursework preferred.
• Ability to work within a project-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in SQL 2+ years (queries writing).
• Exposure to VB/Vb.net.
The required schedule for this position is Monday-Friday (5:00am-3:00pm EST), with potential shift changes based on client requirements. Resources may need to do overtime and work on weekends as per business needs.
