Location: This role could be based out of any of our PwC offices in Australia

This role as a Business Information security officer is part of PwC’s global Network Information Security (NIS) organisation, and NIS is accountable for delivering our cybersecurity strategy and programme.
The Business Information Security Officer (BISO) team works closely with business stakeholders to understand their business model and roadmap for technology, acting as the primary interface between the business and the global security organisation. Management of relationships with the business is key to delivering on our global cybersecurity strategy. Whether it be implementing new solutions, driving operational effectiveness and efficiency or providing guidance back to global teams to further enhance our strategy, the BISO team provides the engagement and builds stakeholder relationships to enable the security organisation to deliver maximum value to the firm. This role works with business teams to help identify and manage cyber security risk.

What you’ll do:
The role will form part of the wider PwC Australia Business Information Security Officer (BISO) team, reporting into the AU CISO.
This BISO role is primarily focused towards:
Working closely with local stakeholder groups within PwC Australia to drive our global cybersecurity strategy. This includes IT, Legal, Risk Management, and client-facing teams who deliver to our clients
Assisting internal business teams with navigating various security assessment processes and the wider NIS organisation, providing security guidance and support
Assisting with identification and management of information security risk areas eg: vulnerabilities, control deficiencies, etc
Management and delivery of both planned projects and risk reduction initiatives from gathering business requirements to working with technical teams, testing and rolling out changes
In addition to the above, this role contributes to Global workstreams to uplift the security posture for the PwC Network as a whole, by working with other BISO and CISO teams from other PwC firms
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a similar cybersecurity role working with the business (1 to 3 years)
The ability to easily communicate and explain cybersecurity principles to non-technical stakeholders
Taking data and translating into a relatable, digestible, creative form to use with business teams and senior stakeholders (eg presentations, dashboards, reports)
Enjoy helping people with problem solving, customer service outlook - working with business teams to achieve positive outcome
Ability to manage workload - prioritise and recognise when to escalate to management
An interest of PwC’s business model, service offerings, and business operating environment as it pertains to the firm’s threat landscape
Project management skills
Experience working in a Globally distributed team is advantageous

The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 85,700.00 including superannuation. Higher grades will receive a salary range above this in line with the salary bands for these positions.
