Facilities Coordinator
1 x Temp Full-Time until 30 September 2027
SNSW Grade 7/8 ($105,986 - $124,957 plus super)
Locations: Haymarket, Parramatta - travel required from time to time – Hybrid Role
About the role:
The Service NSW property portfolio comprises over 120 sites across NSW including greater Sydney, rural and regional locations.
Working closely with three Facilities Managers and another Facilities Coordinator you will coordinate and support the smooth management and operation of facilities team including work orders, shared facilities inbox, maintenance of premises, infrastructure, and other resources to facilitate the efficient delivery of business operations and services to agreed standards.
Travel to various locations may be required from time to time so you must have a current driver’s licence. You may also be required to work out of hours and participate in the after hours on-call roster.
Key Accountabilities
Manage maintenance requests – log, track, and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and repairs for quick issue resolution.
Assist with contract management – support with scheduling and overseeing contractors for maintenance tasks, including proactive, planned and reactive work.
Daily Operations - Ensure daily operations run smoothly, with works completed in appropriate timeframes and to priority.
Communicate with stakeholders – keep staff and customers informed about works that may impact their environment and operations.
Support safety protocols – assist with WHS obligations, manage access control, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role in facilities management and coordination.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Confidence working with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
A good understanding of building maintenance, safety, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with work order or facilities management systems.

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $105986 base plus superannuation
