Are you someone who enjoys helping others, solving problems, and working with a supportive team?
As our Commercial Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our customer and team support operations, using your knowledge of Standards NZ systems, products, and services to make a real difference.
In this role, you'll manage subscription accounts, respond to customer queries, and help promote our offerings-all while delivering outstanding service. You'll also be the key link between Standards NZ and the MBIE Contact Centre, offering guidance and coaching to ensure customer enquiries are handled smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing
Supporting Customers Teams
Provide friendly, high-quality service by answering enquiries and resolving issues.
Be the first point of contact for public and consumer queries via email and phone.
Stay up to date with standards and customer-facing systems.
Support online subscription accounts and manage customer platforms.
Assist the wider team with administrative tasks and inbox management.
Handling Sales Orders
Process sales and fulfilment tasks promptly and accurately.
Manage subscription services from enquiry to setup and ongoing support.
Coordinate print orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Financial Administration
Maintain supplier and customer records in our finance system.
Process invoices, payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Contribute to projects and initiatives that help us improve and grow.

Skills and Experience Required
Experience in customer service and using business systems (e-commerce experience is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and confidence with numbers and data entry.
Clear communication skills-both written and verbal.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
A methodical and organised approach to work.
Ability to spot opportunities for improving processes.
Familiarity with financial systems and basic accounting tasks.
A team-focused attitude and the ability to work independently.
Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
