This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.
The Hiring Manager for this role is Shaun Dougherty – Sales Manager

Domestic and International Relocation is supported.
This role requires availability to work Monday – Sunday, shift times will range across 7:00am – 7:00pm.
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).
You will work out of both IKEA Logan and IKEA North Lakes in a fortnightly roster rotation.
You will be part of the Duty Manager roster and must be available to work every second weekend across both Queensland units.
As part of the recruitment process this role requires a pre-employment check for final candidates.
About this work area As Deputy Market Sales & Customer Experience Manager – QLD Market, you will lead and support both the IKEA Logan and North Lakes units:
Lead the customer & selling assignment and unit strategy and be accountable for its performance.
Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Selling and Customer team, with a customer focused culture, to achieve planned sales, profitability, growth targets and provide a rewarding customer experience.
Collaborating with the commercial team to translate commercial action plans to operational goals and priorities, to address challenges, control budgets and people planning, providing support and guidance to co-workers.
Secure that local market, customer, consumer and competitor insights are used to identify local market potential and continuously improve sales performance and omnichannel customer experience.
Monitor individual and team performance to achieve goals and objectives, identifying and implementing corrective action where necessary

To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential:
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in leadership or management within commercial functions.

Proven experience to implement plans into reality and make things happen.
Successful skills in problem solving, conflict management and people development.
Skilled in making commercial decisions based on market data.
Experience of Omnichannel customer experience.
