Job Description
• Educational Qualification: BE / Diploma in Mech. Engg
• Fixed annual CTC: Upto 12 lacs
• Variable Compensation: 1 month CTC
• Reporting to: AVP - Service
• Number of reportees: At Site
• Work Experience: 8 to 10 years of overhauling exp. on any Marine Propulsion system incl Thruster, BT and Shafting jobs

What’s the purpose of this role?
• To create a standalone service brand in the market for Engine Overhauling & Maintenance.
• To strengthen our presence in Gulf countries, European countries & Defence.
• To give a direction to new available talent towards their dream projects & better employment which can improve global employment ratio.
• This role will ensure all types of Marine propulsion systems overhauling from Neptunus power by giving end to end solutions.

Key Results: (What will I be accountable for) and Activities: (What will I be accountable for?)
1) Leading the site project with all technical related siteplanning and execution:
• Prior to site deputation, work along with Site manager as Team Leader on pre-planning inc tool kit, full kit, Part list prep and barchart finalization.
• Be part of Site Briefing / De briefing of respective Jobs (focus - Standardisation / Continual Improvement)
• Lead site jobs Independently
• Arrange the day`s tools, consumables & parts required pro-actively to ensure completion of planned work preferably expedite the work to keep free time for unplanned challenges due to unforeseen circumstances
• Anticipate the Gray Areas in Advance and Plan them with concrete solution before..
• Daily basis - Customer updates, kick off meeting, relation with ground authorities, updates on work progress, highlight gaps / mishaps from customer side.
• Prepare Barchart and comply with it during the execution
• Ensure the technicians are guided and any redflags/delays in work are taken up suitably with the manager or customer on the right time.
• Keep Customer appraised off the problems well before the Dry Dock plan
2) QMS and Technical Compliance and competent:
• Accountability of Tool management - accept the tools in clean and non- contaminated from the team.
• Give orientation to the team ( technician + Jr supervisor) to Safeguard the tools at all sites.
• Ensure the tools are functional; complete; clean and calibrated as necessary
• Learn to use measuring tools independently - Feeler gauge; dial gauges, Vernier caliper; Micrometer; Bore gauge; ThermoMeter, multimeter, laser aligner
• Work in a Clean and contamination free area
• Identify Safety Threats and follow respective site safety procedures.
3) Continual Development & Service Excellence:
• Standardize applying smart techniques for routine engines attended by NPPS in the past history:
• Mandatory & anticipatory scope along with parts lists as per assets and arrangement numbers
• Create justified reasoning for mandatory & anticipatory replacements based on OEM recommendations & past learnings
• Special tools (OEM & standardize fabrication if any from past learnings)
• Stay updated, Read Manual / Discuss Challenges & opportunity with Management
• Responsible for Quality report generation
• Develop / Improvise Checklist
• Identify training needs & train to technician and supervisor on site, suggest the training needs to be in liason with HR & management.
• DRI for Reducing the Site Execution days by 30% using innovative methods
Knowledge/Skills/Behaviours the Candidate Should Possess: Must have (M)/ Nice to have (N)
Knowledge: (Technical and Non-Technical)
• At least having 8 to 10 years of rich experience of Propulsion system's overhauling work on Tugs/ PSVs/ OSVs - (M)
• Experience on brands like Berg, Kamome, Kawasaki, Niigata - Zpeller, Nakashima, Rolls Royce, Schottel and Wartsila - (M)
• Mainly Leading experience on Thruster / Propeller / Bow Thruster / Shafting and ZP for more than 5 years - (M)
• Prefer good knowledge on control Instrumentation. –(N)
Skills: ( Technical and Non-Technical) :
• Attention to detail so that getting information, comparing lists, looking at manuals and translating information into a document is possible - (M)
• Good Communication in verbal and written English to be able to communicate with Customers and Prepare daily work reports - (M)

Challenges of the Role:
• Adapting to changing and requirements priorities of Customers during a project (example: scope changes, bar plan changes.
• Ever increasing Customer expectation in quality, velocity and cost from their service provider. Therefore we need to respond quickly, find solutions by coordinating internally or externally with technical experts.
• Finding a balance between optimizing parts and finding no shortfall when a project starts.
• First time right with QVC.
• Able to work on 10-12 hours a day in offshore , extensive abroad traveL

The DCS Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analysing and improving the performance of the data centre infrastructure. The focus of the role is to optimise the efficiency of the data centre, ensuring continuous availability and reliability of critical systems and equipment.
Job Description
Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Lead and coordinate a team of problem engineers to investigate problems, implement solutions and take preventative measures
• Identify and resolve emerging and recurring problems, picking up feeds from numerous sources across the organisation
• Perform root cause analysis to minimise the adverse impact of incidents, minimising down-time and broader organisational risk
• Develop and implement permanent solutions to known problems, addressing root causes and preventing the risk of recurrence
• Work closely with major incident and change managers to stop incidents such as regular service outages recurring, ensuring the successful implementation of corrective and preventative actions
• Create and maintain documentation outlining problem management activities such as root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
• Design and measure KPIs to monitor the success and impact of problem management processes
• Regularly communicate progress updates on problem management activities with both internal stakeholders and external clients
• Support knowledge management by sharing known problem resolutions, best practices and corrective and preventative measures
