Role

To work in a team for simulation of parts and assemblies. Understand and ensure simulation of physical behavior / loading condition for the given parts and assemblies.

A purpose driven role for you

He/ She shall be able to preprocess (setup job deck), check radiated emission and immunity of electrical parts and verify EV transmission system. Predict failure modes related to EMI/EMC. He / She shall be able to preprocess(mesh) and perform simulation activities under guidance to check stiffness, strength and durability of the components & assemblies.

A Day in the life

Model circuit/ wire routing, test bench setup as per CISPR, antenna

Perform radiated/ conducted emission, immunity, coupling simulation

Perform structural and electrical simulations related to EV transmission system

Meshing and Simulation for stiffness, strength and durability calculations of structural parts and assemblies under different loading conditions

Understand the functions of the component and derive the load cases for virtual evaluation.

Perform the analysis and suggest the design improvements to expert engineer for approval.

To provide the critical locations/ parameters to the Testing team for physical testing on track/ component level.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B. Tech/M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering from reputed Institute with atleast 8 to 10 years experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Product/engineering understanding of electrical parts in two wheelers like Scooter, Motorcycle, and step through vehicles.

• Knowledge of Electromagnetic principles, EMC, High frequency behavior, near & far field coupling, Circuit layout, Solid mechanics, Material Science, Vibrations
