Job Description
As CFO, you will oversee all financial operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. You will report directly to the Freo Group President and play a key role in ensuring the company's financial performance, compliance, and growth.
Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and guide the Finance team to ensure corporate reporting deadlines are met for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
Ensure adherence to statutory reporting and compliance standards, including managing audit programs and ensuring timely audit completion without material adjustments.
Manage tax compliance, including quarterly tax memos and staying updated on any changes in local tax laws.
Drive cash flow management to maintain positive working capital and low days sales outstanding (DSO).
Improve billing processes through Power BI dashboards and address any arising issues.
Lead the finance team and foster a culture of respect, accountability, and teamwork.
Actively drive business development initiatives to promote company growth and new business opportunities.
Requirements
A qualified finance professional with a minimum of 10 years of commercial finance experience.
A proven track record in leadership and financial management.
An eye for detail, with engaging communication skills and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
A proven track record of coaching, managing, and leading finance teams, combined with experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering on complex financial projects.
Previous ERP systems and business intelligence software experience, combined with a track record in a capital and labor-intensive industry.
