Job description
We are looking for a seasoned HR professional for a leading NBFC to Lead the HR Operations vertical.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR operational excellence across a large, distributed workforce of over 15,000 employees, with 5-6 member HR team. This is a critical leadership role requiring a hands-on, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual who thrives in a
fast-paced and high-volume environment.
The Incumbent should have
Passion for Operational Excellence
- Lead and manage all core HR operations across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, exits, payroll coordination, benefits administration, attendance & leave management, and HR compliance.
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution of all HR processes across regional teams.
Team Leadership
- Provide strategic direction and daily guidance to a large HR operations team of members spread across multiple geographies.
- Develop SOPs, build capability, and foster accountability through robust tracking of deliverables and performance metrics.
Automation & Technology Enablement
- Drive process automation and system optimization across HR functions.
- Leverage HRMS, workflow tools, and digital dashboards to simplify and scale operations.
- Collaborate with IT and HR tech vendors to implement and enhance HR systems.
Data & Analytics
- Use data-driven insights to monitor operational KPIs, identify process gaps, and support strategic workforce planning.
- Present meaningful dashboards and analytics to HR and business leadership.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws, internal audit protocols, and regulatory reporting norms.
- Monitor risk areas and proactively implement controls for compliance across states and regions.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the HR operations SPOC for business heads, finance, audit, and compliance teams.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure alignment between central HR and field teams
Must have :
- Strong execution capability with hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Excellent team management and people leadership skills.
- Orientation toward automation, digitization, and operational scalability - Hands-on with Darwin Box is must
- High comfort with HRMS, Excel, and data tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
