We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Assistant to support our sales efforts in South Asia.
This entry-level role will provide you with hands-on experience in sales, client relationship management, and partnership development while working closely with the sales team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Acquisition Support: Assist in identifying, outreach, and onboarding new merchants and partners in South Asia, supporting the sales team in expanding our client base.
• Lead Generation & Outreach: Help generate new leads by researching and reaching out to potential clients, including merchants and partners. Assist in managing the initial stages of the sales pipeline.
• Sales Presentation & Meetings: Support in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and materials for client meetings, and assist in organizing meetings or calls with potential clients.
• Partnership Development: Assist in building and nurturing relationships with key business partners, ensuring each interaction aligns with our objectives and offers mutual value.
• Client Onboarding: Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring they understand our products or services, and assist in addressing any inquiries to ensure smooth integration.
• Market Research & Insights: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitor activities, and industry trends. Share relevant insights with the sales team to refine acquisition strategies.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the sales team, such as managing client records, scheduling meetings, tracking client communication, and preparing reports as instructed by our country manager.
• Event Support: Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as merchant meetups or partnership conferences, that contribute to client acquisition efforts.
• Reporting & Feedback: Track and report on key metrics related to client acquisition, outreach efforts, and sales activities to our country manager, offering feedback to refine strategies.
Qualifications:
• Some experience or internship in sales, client acquisition, or business development, with an interest in building relationships and growing partnerships.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling sales messages and engage with potential clients.
• Interest in understanding market trends and using insights to support sales strategies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle administrative tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn and grow within the sales field.
