Casual position with progression into a permanent role
Due to our continued growth and increasing client base, we are seeking expressions of interest to work in a dual role as a Case Manager and RTW Coordinator.
Working within our Claims Consulting team, day to day you will be:
Providing quality case management within the Australian jurisdictions for Workers Compensation
Supporting people to recover and RTW and pre-injury activities for both work related and non work related injuries
Working to implement return to work plans in the workplaces, supporting workers as they recover at work
Assisting employers to meet their obligations as required under Workers Compensation legislation
Liaising with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
The Position:
This is a unique dual role working as a Senior Case Manager in the Self Insurance industry whilst also managing RTW cases across a range of clients
Casual position initially is preferred with the view to transition into a permanent part time/full time position as the position and demand grows
NSW based candidate preferred, however interstate applications are welcome if application has both skill sets of RTW and case management
Flexibility with hours and working from home, however able to complete onsite work as requested
Working in a team of skilled professionals in all things return to work and case management.
About You:
Mandatory: minimum 5 years case management experience in NSW scheme
Experience working within self-insurance (highly regarded)
RTW coordination experience
Understand the day to day requirements of application of benefits and Claims Management including calculating PIAWE, drafting disputes, applying the reasonable and necessary test to medical treatment, Injury Management Planning and legal proceedings
A current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent time management skills
Independent working with ability to fit into multiple different work scenarios and clients
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving
A sense of urgency in day to day activities
Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach.
