We are looking for New Zealand based tutors to join our team and conduct online tutoring sessions for primary and secondary school students across New Zealand and Australia. We are actively looking to recruit qualified teachers, and university students/graduates who have a passion for English or Maths, and share our strong belief that education changes lives. You might be doing a Maths or English Lit major, or have graduated in these fields and want to give back some of what you have learnt. You might be studying to become a teacher, or be a qualified teacher already… Whatever your situation, we have the students and resources ready for you!
About the role:
Convenient and flexible – work from anywhere and around your own schedule.
Hassle free - we find you the students and give you the learning materials, so all you need to do is log on and tutor.
No travel costs - save money by working remotely!
Training provided - throughout your onboarding process you’ll learn how to use our platform and content. We also supply skills-based training on an ongoing basis.
Develop skills and build your CV – work with a diverse range of educators and professionals sharing knowledge and ideas, and be part of a data-driven approach to learning.
Earn income while gaining experience with our online school tutoring platform.
The lesson plans are matched to the curriculum, so, you can be confident you are teaching relevant material that matters!
A bit about you:
You might be a qualified teacher, a recent graduate, or a current university student.
You have had experience tutoring.
Your qualification is in Education, or a field related to Maths or English.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to be engaging online.
You have a minimum 10 hours per week of availability during our peak tutoring. To get the most work, your availability would sit between 6pm - 11pm on weekdays and 10am - 6pm on weekends.
You have full working rights in New Zealand.
