Operational Risk

Job Description -
• Operational Risk Reporting: The operational risk vertical head is responsible for reporting deviation from set limits. This includes analysing identified trends in the key risk indicators.
• Implementation of OR practices in line with Basel and domestic/ international regulatory {Reserve Bank of India (RBI)} framework
• Designing and developing the Risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) methodology for the Bank
• Responsible for bench-marking current risk practices against those stipulated within business units.
• To lead the supervision of all the Operational Risk Activities within the Bank
• Review and evaluation of product & process notes to identify key risks
• To analyse and assess inherent operational risk levels and governing risk management practices.
• Monitoring key risks Indicators (KRI) on a periodic basis
• Production of operational risk reporting to the Risk Management Committee of the Board
• Compute and Report RWA for Operational Risk
• Formulation and Implementation of Operational Risk Management Framework and methodology
• Measure, control and manage operational risk on a bank-wide basis within the limits set by the Board / CRMC.
• Performing Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) for various systems/activities.
• Contribute to the establishment of appropriate information flows of risk reports used to monitor various aspects of operational risk on an ongoing basis.
• Develop risk registers, conduct RCSAs and define KRIs for risk management and control indicators
• Identify and evaluate emerging risk areas across the operational activities
• Support in creation of operational risk quantification models established for calculation Operational VaR at the Company level;
• Support in formulating Risk Management strategy and framework
• Perform other duties as assigned by the bank
