Join our dynamic team at the Council’s Facilities & Assets Branch as a Planned Maintenance Officer! We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual for this position to help drive the effective management of our facilities and assets.
About the Opportunity
Support the development of the Council's building asset strategies by assisting with technical maintenance planning and the implementation of identified work plans. This includes helping with the maintenance planning and scheduling processes to effectively use a contractor-based workforce.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
A minimum certificate IV qualification in building, facility management, project management, essential safety measures or construction related discipline or substantial experience in a related field.
Knowledge and / or experience in building maintenance, programmed maintenance, essential safety measures and inspection services.
Knowledge and / or experience in asset management systems, data collection and database management and / or CAD systems.
High level customer service skills and experience
Experience in working to timeframes and reporting requirements.
Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one.
Current Drivers Licence.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $77,725.+6 to $8+,201.84 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
