Job description, work day and responsibilities
The role of Project Delivery Officer is responsible for the full range of program delivery functions, including input into the preparation of water and sewerage capital works programs, preparing cost estimates, the preparation and management of technical and contract related documentation, implementation of projects, site supervision and compliance audits.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
Diploma or Certificate IV in Civil Works or related field
A current Class C Drivers Licence
A current Construction General Induction Card - NSW SafeWork or equivalent
Current Certification to Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
Current Certification to Work Safely at Heights
Experience in contract management
Experience in estimating, cost control and programming of civil works

The salary range for this position ranges between $85.8k - $103k plus 11.5% superannuation
3x permanent full-time roles available.
This role will be able to access a + day fortnight.
We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days work from home and 3 days on site.
This role is located at the Erina Works Depot.
Successful candidates will be required to have vaccinations against Hepatitis A and Tetanus.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake and pass a Confined Spaces medical.
A leaseback vehicle is provided in this role for official duties and private use and your choice of vehicle will be provided when one becomes available in accordance with Council’s Vehicle Policy. In the meantime, either an alternate pre-used vehicle or a vehicle allowance of $207.31 per week ($10,780.12 per annum) is temporarily applied for this position due to ongoing issues with supply for new vehicles.
Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
