About The Role

As a key member of our security team, you'll be responsible for closely monitoring activities and reporting incidents at the client site, utilising advanced tools like wands and metal detectors. We prioritise your growth through continuous training, ensuring you have the skills needed to excel in your role and enhance the overall security service.

Role Highlights
• Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, days and nights
• ⏰ Weekly Hours: 42 hours
• Requirements: SIA Licence required
• Transport: Driving Licence and access to vehicle

Job Opportunity
• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site by monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property and maintain all logbooks and records in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Interacts with others in a supportive way and in accordance with our Core Values

Essential Skills
• SIA licence
• Driving licence
• RTW and 5yr checkable history
• 2-5 years experience as a Security Officer
• Highest quality personal appearance
• Flexible, professional and adept at working under pressure
• Outstanding written, verbal and oral communication skills
• Customer oriented with a passion for high-level service
• Polite and proactive
• Able to use initiative and highly adaptable
• IT literate
• Demonstrate the values of integrity, vigilance and helpfulness which Securitas prides itself with
