We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel and Ethics, Risk & Compliance (ERC) Associate to provide expert legal counsel and ERC support to our business functions. This role involves acting as a trusted legal advisor and business partner, negotiating contracts, managing litigation, and offering guidance on complex legal issues.
Major Accountabilities:
Serve as a legal and ERC business partner to the Country Head, overseeing contractual negotiations and statutory obligations.
Independently draft and review complex transactions and contracts, providing nuanced legal advice and guidance across various functions, including business partnering, marketing, and retail.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with business activities, raising awareness of legal issues and ensuring early legal involvement.
Conduct thorough risk assessments to support management decision-making processes.
Manage significant disputes, litigation, and investigations, making independent decisions within a broad framework.
Lead, direct, and develop the legal resources within Sandoz.
Ensure timely reporting of technical complaints, adverse events, special case scenarios related to Sandoz products within 24 hours of receipt and oversee the distribution of marketing samples where applicable.
Key Performance Indicators:
Deliver problem-solving, business-oriented legal advice, with effectiveness assessed through customer feedback.
Ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
Prioritize and manage a diverse workload effectively.

Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
