Role purpose

An experienced and innovative Senior Manager, Product Management is required to lead the transformation of the VBG Vehicle Finance proposition in line with our wider customer strategy and to drive profitable growth across our target market.

You will lead a team to manage and develop existing and new products, ensuring customer centric design that delivers fair value for our customers. Reporting to the Head of Vehicle Finance, you will deputise for them when required and be part of the leadership team. You will lead strong collaboration across the business for the benefit of our customers and ensure that their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and maximise existing products across their lifecycle against the customer value and regulatory frameworks
• Developing the Product plan/roadmap and driving new products and opportunities that

drive the growth strategy across a variety of channels and stay ahead of market demands
• Drive innovation to maintain a competitive edge with both end consumers and

intermediaries
• Lead and mentor a high performing team who manage Vehicle Finance products and

services (end to end), fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Lead various initiatives across the business simultaneously and with flexibility of changing business needs
• Ensure the end to end delivery of the product and related journeys/processes meet

customer, regulatory and commercial objectives
• Develop, manage and motivate colleagues in the business to create an environment for

success aligned to our culture. This includes the co-ordination of resources, effective

talent and performance management

What You Bring To The Team
• Extensive experience in financial services, including leadership roles. Strong knowledge of

lending products (Vehicle Finance desirable) and market dynamics
• Proven track record in product development in a financial services environment
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• String analytical and problem solving skills, with experience in designing digitally led products
• Deep understanding of regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements in the UK financial services sector
• Leadership and people management experience
• Proven strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
• Deep understanding of financial services / lending products and track record to innovate while managing complex product development cycles and multi-distribution platforms
• A track record of delivering improvements – articulating vision, inspire

confidence/credibility and influence at a senior/board level

Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid, but we recognise the importance of

collaborative working with our working with our colleagues often 2 days per week in one of our offices . More office-based working may be required during project rollouts or when we have a higher number of users in the office.

What to expect next: Our average process takes up to 4 weeks but we will always work around your availability. You will have the chance to speak to our recruitment team throughout the process.
