About The Role
Our National Finance & Administration department is seeking a Team Leader to join our National Payroll team, based in Minchinbury NSW. This is a permanent full-time position.
In this role you will lead a highly-motivated team responsible for the review, analysis, and calculation of workers compensation payments for all injured workers nationally. The successful candidate will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders and provide support to the Payroll and Safety Departments in process improvement initiatives and projects.
What does the role look like?
Lead, develop and support a team of payroll assistants in both BAU and project tasks in relation to workers compensation
Handle adjustment calculations and any escalation of injured workers’ entitlements based on state legislation
Identify and analyse key trends within Injury Management reporting and develop solutions to address potential impacts
Provide technical guidance and continuous support to senior management and the regional safety teams with respect to Workers Compensation and Injury Management payroll matters
Assist in completing premium renewal process and premium forecast reporting
Ensure ALDI is compliant with all current legislative obligations and engaging in best practice injury management
What do we need from you?
Demonstrated leadership experience, having developed and mentored a team
Experience in end-to-end Payroll
Understanding of Workers Compensation entitlements and legislation advantageous
High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Exposure to HRIS and/or Injury Management systems such as iChris, UKG or SolvInjury highly regarded

Remuneration
Transparent tiered salary range of $110,800 - $132,200 including superannuation.
