Transcription Services are an integral part of the Service Group. They are part of a nationally distributed group which provide transcript and dictation services to frontline staff for operational and court purposes.

The Service group is looking for engaged and highly motivated people to be part of a dynamic team in the Transcription Service Group. The environment is fast-paced and conscientious with each member ensuring quality of work is kept to a high standard.

You will work as part of the team reporting to the Transcription Supervisor, alongside other teams across the country. You will have a clear focus on supporting both frontline staff and victims, while driving innovation and good quality practices in order to deliver on Our Business.

To meet the typing requirements, you must be able to manage your time in this fast paced and deadline driven environment. You will be highly motivated and a professional team player who can confidentially manage handling sensitive material.

Key Accountabilities:
Ability to transcribe accurately from DVDs and audio recordings
Work under pressure whilst managing conflicting demands
Excellent grammar and spelling
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Ability to plan and prioritise workload

A high level of computer literacy - Microsoft Word is essential
Exceptional keyboard skills including speed and accuracy
Audio transcription experience is preferred
A working knowledge of Winscribe would be advantageous
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be comfortable handling potentially graphic and upsetting material with professionalism
Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive information
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

This role requires you to work rostered shifts which will include weekends and Public Holidays

This role is set at Individual Contributor level , this means your key purpose is “to deliver or enable others to deliver Our Business”.
