Senior Accounting Manager - USA Remote Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Accounting Manager to lead our team of accounting professionals serving clients across the USA. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in US accounting practices, team leadership, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage a team of accountants handling multi-country client portfolios
• Review and manage end-to-end accounting processes including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements – P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
• Oversee payroll coordination (W-2/10++) and ensure tax compliance for US clients
• Conduct internal reviews to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for workflow optimization and technology integration
• Train, mentor, and monitor the performance of junior accountants
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client communications, queries, and escalations
• Assist in process documentation and audit preparation

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in US accounting, including 1+ year in a leadership role
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Excel
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and compliance (W-2/10++, IRS guidelines)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Client-centric approach with proven stakeholder management experience
• Tech-savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work across time zones and manage multiple clients

Working Details:

Monday to Friday (Night Shift / US Time Zone)
