The Role
We are seeking a Senior Associate - HR to join our team and play a crucial role in managing key HR functions. As a Human Resources Business Partner for Manufacturing Excellence, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate salary disbursement, compliance with tax regulations, and coordination with finance. You will also process salary earnings and deductions in SAP, handle biometric registration and joining formalities of new employees, implement Memorandum of Settlement, manage employee grievances, and support disciplinary actions as required.
Key Responsibilities
• Payroll Processing & HR Operations: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate salary disbursement, compliance with tax regulations, and coordination with finance.
• Payroll Management: Process salary earnings & deductions in SAP, including Life Insurance Corporation, festival advances, goodwill, annual gifts, marriage loans, leave encashment, uniforms, stitching, goggles, gifts, emergency loans, attendance rewards, medical premium recovery, and labor welfare fund deductions.
• Joining & Leaving Formalities: Handle biometric registration & joining formalities of new employees and final settlement for resigned & retired employees.
• Industrial Relations & Workplace Discipline: Implement Memorandum of Settlement and ensure harmonious labor relations, manage employee grievances, and support disciplinary actions as required.
• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Manage end-to-end recruitment, ensuring timely hiring of a skilled workforce aligned with business needs.
• Employee Engagement & Welfare: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, engagement, and well-being.
• Performance Management: Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback mechanisms.
• Training & Development: Identify skill gaps and facilitate training programs for employee upskilling and career growth.
• Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws: Ensure adherence to labor laws & compliance.
Requirements
• Payroll & HR Operations Expertise: Strong understanding of payroll processing, statutory deductions, and compliance requirements.
• HR Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HR functions, labour laws, and statutory compliances specific to Karnataka.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Ability to build a positive work culture and resolve workplace concerns effectively.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience in HR analytics, reporting, and data management.
• Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Proactive in addressing HR challenges.
Qualifications
• MSW/MBA in HR with 5-8 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry.
• Competent with MS-Office and SAP.
