Responsibilities
Oversee all purchasing activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials and services
Manage and administer the bid proposal process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring the highest quality of goods and services at the most competitive prices
Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all purchasing activities
Manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in delivery
Work closely with the construction and hospitality departments to support hotel renovation projects
Utilize your Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPP) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) skills to optimize purchasing processes and strategies
Regularly review and analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and changes in technology to ensure the company's purchasing activities are effective and competitive
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, construction, and hospitality, to ensure purchasing strategies align with company objectives

A Bit About Us

Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Buyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project administration, construction, hospitality, and hotel experience. This role requires a deep understanding of SOP compliance, purchasing, bid proposals, purchase orders. Purchasing certifications (CPP, and CSCP) are a plus. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for managing and overseeing the purchasing function within the company.

This is a hybrid position working in the office 3 days/week and remote 2 days. The reason for this opening is growth within hotel renovations/construction projects, so it's an amazing time to join the company and learn a lot!!
